A meeting place

A commemorative site in memory of four members of the Paz team, a unit of the Israeli Paratroopers’ Engineering Corps in the Israel Defense Forces who fell during an operation in the Gaza Strip.

For every space – a path. Its own way.

The paths all come together into one unit, a single structure.

Each space contributes its walls to the structure and together they support the roof.

Every space moves walls –

Giving of himself for his friend,

And there, at the point of giving,

Where there was brotherly love

There will be Blossom,

There will be life.

In September 2018, two members of Paz team contacted us to preserve the memory of the fallen:

Paz Eliyahu, Shachar Dover, Shachar Shalev and Lee ‘Lilick’ Mat.

The site selected for planning is located in the Hadassah youth village on the Kurkar cliff, Near Kefar Vitkin, overlooking the Mediterranean.
